Animated Videos on Zero Poaching

WWF Nepal is seeking a Nepal-based consultant to develop two 3-minute animated videos on zero poaching, to be delivered by October 30, 2025.

WWF Nepal is hiring a consultant to create two animated videos focused on "Zero Poaching", a goal that aims to reduce illegal wildlife killings to undetectable levels without harming species populations. These videos will form part of a toolkit to promote conservation awareness.

WWF, the world’s leading independent conservation organization, started its global operations in Switzerland in 1961 and has been working in Nepal since 1967, with a formal office established in 1993. The organization now works in five areas: Wildlife, Freshwater, Forests, Climate and Energy, and Governance.

Contract Period

The consultant will be engaged from August to October 2025.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant will create two animated videos, each 3 minutes long, on the topic of Zero Poaching. The videos must follow a style reference provided by WWF Nepal and align with the provided objectives.

Specific Deliverables/Requirements

• Two animated videos (3 minutes each)
• First video submitted by September 20, 2025
• Second video submitted by October 30, 2025
• All collected materials (graphics, illustrations, audio, music, and footage) submitted by October 30, 2025
• Final financial report with VAT invoice and HR timesheets submitted by October 30, 2025

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will coordinate with WWF Nepal’s communications and illegal wildlife trade (IWT) teams and is responsible for managing the full video production cycle.

• Participate in briefing meetings with WWF Nepal
• Prepare scripts and storyboards
• Produce videos with voiceovers, music, and subtitles
• Deliver draft and final versions
• Submit all original creative assets used in production

Qualifications and Experience

The assignment is open to VAT-registered organizations based in Nepal. The consultant must have prior experience in creating animated videos, particularly on environmental or conservation topics.

• Proven experience in producing animated educational content
• Ability to manage full production cycle independently

Selection Process
