Program Coordinator (Entrepreneurship Cluster)

Daayitwa is hiring a Program Coordinator for its Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Project (GEEP) in Kathmandu to lead project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise development.

Daayitwa is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join its Kathmandu team for the Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Project (GEEP). The role focuses on designing, executing, and coordinating interventions that help accelerate rural enterprises and boost employment.

The Coordinator will be working under the supervision of the Program Manager and will support communications, outreach, administrative functions, and reporting. This position plays a key role in expanding access to finance and markets, improving enterprise capabilities, and promoting grassroots-government collaboration for inclusive development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project execution, including capacity building, market access, value chain development, and financial linkage
• Design and implement project activities such as studies, toolkits, trainings, and application screenings
• Coordinate events like orientations, workshops, and pitching sessions
• Conduct field visits and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
• Prepare progress and impact reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with advisors to align implementation with project goals and regulations
• Create entrepreneurship tools and support enterprise acceleration
• Partner with the communications team for outreach, storytelling, and donor engagement
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to sustain project growth

• Design interventions to improve access to finance and markets
• Facilitate connections with banks, companies, and financial institutions
• Help enterprises with branding, packaging, quality control, and digital marketing
• Develop tools for assessing enterprise readiness
• Promote policies that support market and financial access

• Support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system
• Document success stories, challenges, and feedback
• Ensure inclusive indicators are integrated into evaluation frameworks
• Help prepare data and insights for reporting, advocacy, and improvement

Eligibility to apply

Education:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Economics, or similar fields

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing programs or projects
• Proven background in coordinating initiatives at local or federal levels
• Experience with governance, rural development, and economic empowerment

• Effective written and spoken communication in English and Nepali
• Time management and multi-tasking
