Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reported a profit of NRs 9.55 billion for the fiscal year 2024/25. The financial update was shared during the corporation’s 43rd Annual General Meeting held in Singhadurbar, Kathmandu.

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reported a profit of NRs 9.55 billion for the fiscal year 2024/25. The financial update was shared during the corporation’s 43rd Annual General Meeting held in Singhadurbar, Kathmandu.
During the review period, NOC imported petroleum products worth NRs 356.72 billion and sold them for NRs 364.52 billion. In the previous fiscal year 2023/24, it recorded petroleum sales worth NRs 383 billion.
NOC attributed its profitability to the implementation of a fully automated pricing system. Despite this year’s profit, the corporation’s accumulated profit stands at NRs 4.83 billion. The meeting also approved a 10% dividend for its shareholders.
In addition to its profit, NOC contributed significantly to public revenue by paying NRs 112 billion in taxes from fuel transactions over the past year. The corporation's current paid-up capital stands at NRs 11 billion.
