UbuCon Asia 2025 is a regional open-source conference that will bring together developers, Development and Operations (DevOps) engineers, and tech enthusiasts from across Asia to share knowledge, collaborate, and advance the open-source ecosystem. 

The conference centers on professional development and knowledge sharing within the open-source community. It emphasizes social impact and community engagement by building collaboration across diverse cultures and backgrounds. Policy and international relations will be explored as part of strengthening ties within the Asian open-source ecosystem. Special focus will be placed on emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cloud computing, and DevOps alongside traditional open-source tools.

UbuCon Asia 2025 is organized by Ubuntu Nepal in partnership with the Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CSRI). Ubuntu is a volunteer-driven community dedicated to promoting Ubuntu, Linux, and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in Nepal. Ubuntu Nepal works to build local capacity through workshops, meetups, and events to grow Nepal’s participation in the global open-source movement.
